Nextbot Graveyard

Nextbot Graveyard

How long can you actually last once a nextbot locks onto you and decides you’re the only thing worth chasing? That’s the pitch of Nextbot Graveyard, a first-person horror chase built on one brutal rule: get spotted, get caught, and the round ends. There’s no health bar to cushion a bad guess. The instant a round begins, something is already moving toward you, and the question is whether you survive close to a minute and a half before it finds a clean line on you.

Nextbot Graveyard spreads that pressure across six levels, each tighter than the last. WASD moves you and the mouse interacts with doors and props, but the real skill is reading sightlines before a nextbot reads you first. Outrunning one in a straight sprint doesn’t work in this game; a wrong turn near a doorway can end a run before footsteps even register. Getting caught means instant elimination, turning six levels into six tests of nerve.

What Hunts You Inside Nextbot Graveyard

No two hunts play out the same way. Sanic is chaos on legs, closing gaps almost instantly and forcing pure reaction. The Preacher drifts with an eerie calm that lulls you into moving carelessly right before he strikes. Neither cools down between targets, so knowing which pursuer is active on a level changes how you read every corner in it.

This variety is also where players argue most. Some love that the roster keeps levels from feeling repetitive; others find the lack of a warning beat genuinely unforgiving on a first try, especially once The Preacher shows up mid-run and punishes sloppy movement Sanic never would have. Both reactions hold up.

None of the six pursuers can be beaten in a footrace, which trips up newcomers who sprint for the far door the moment they hear something. Regulars break line of sight instead, since a nextbot that can’t see you drifts back into patrol behavior.

Rounds That Nextbot Graveyard Never Lets You Skip

Winning a round rarely comes down to speed. Ducking behind debris, slipping around a corner as a pursuer’s path bends away, and using scenery to break its view beats a flat sprint. Sound matters too, since bumping clutter can pull a wandering nextbot toward your last position even when it never saw you.

By the third or fourth level, corridors narrow and the traps scattered through the graveyard cost as many runs as the nextbots do, so the players who last longest slow down instead of panicking. A clean clear of all six levels without dying is the kind of clip the community brags about, since it means outlasting Sanic and The Preacher both without either getting a full look at you.

First-timers usually die on level one or two just learning where Sanic and The Preacher tend to appear, while cautious players lean on hiding spots once they exist. Nextbot Graveyard rewards patience while never slowing down itself, and that mismatch is what keeps people loading a fresh round the moment the last one ends.
